Wisdom Teeth Removal

Post by Boomlala on Sat Jul 09, 2011 3:45 pm

Had them removed 3 days ago, still have the swelling and can't eat properly because of it. Anyone else did this?

I did, it can take whole week to lose the swelling.

I had 2 sessions, the first time it took me a week to feel good again.

The second one just like 2-3 days.

Ice might help.

I've recently had my second removed(coming slow)
No pain or discomfort after it was done, this senior dentist is damn good!

I dont want to talk about this 0o
I had quite a hard time for some weeks when i got one out at the age of 21..
Just to get a hint the first day i couldnt even sleep form the pain, swallow was a living torture, and i could chew smooth food after a week... i also couldnt open fully my mouth for like a month, then somethnig really rare happened and i had a bad swelling inside my throat (good thing i ran to the doc the same day cuz i was having a hard time breath as teh time was passing :/). After like a week i was better Smile I knew the hard part was over and i think after a few more days it was like new ^^

Hope i didnt discourage the future ones ;P

There are some lucky bastards who don't need them to be removed.

with most people the wisdom teeth grow "wrong".. so they'll eventually collide with your other teeth.. That is why most people should get them removed.

6 days and I can eat regularly again. The swelling got worse the past tthree days suddenly, but now it's completely gone.

Swallowing hurt a bit on my sides.

No, you can feel somewhat sick after the procedure, better take some pain killers.
