JK2 Problem

That gray square is usually displayed when the game can't find the texture, I've usually seen this when tweaking textures on maps etc..

Could also be a issue with your graphics card, but I'm not sure if it should be affected in anyway that early. I'd try a quick reinstall(remember patch) and a update of drivers.

^^^^ I agree. And if it is a video card problem (which it really shouldnt be due to the not so high requirements for the game) See if its loose or reinstall the drivers for it.

so I reinstall JK? hmm that's not gonna be easy since I got it sent via msn years ago,

Go buy the game then lol....For real you can get from ebay and amazon for cheap.

You can also get it from steam.

If you've once bought the game to me it would be justified to just download the game with a torrent lol

ok I just deleted my JK (after backup ofc) and unzipped it again. It works, ty guys !

So I have the same problem as before. Reinstalling JK worked for a while; but now it unfixed itself (i think after rebooting, tough not sure)

any other suggestions besides reinstalling JK every time I want to play?

Buy the actually game because illegal copies of the game tend to have issues like that shit
